A huge thank you was given last night at the JNA's 73rd AGM to Yveline Sheldon who has stepped down after 5 years in the role of President of the Jersey Netball Association.

During those 5 years Yveline has worked tirelessly to update the JNA's policies and procedures, implement new fundraisers, thoughtfully looked after our growing list of sponsors with impeccable communication and many other actions too numerous to mention. We are incredibly grateful for all her dedication to the role.

Prior to taking over as President Yveline held many positons on the JNA Committee including Junior Vice President and Senior Vice President. A player and Coach also, Yveline was also involved in St John's Netball Club from its inception coaching the players from the age of 17.

As thanks for her tireless devotion to her sport and Association, Yveline was last night named as an Honorary Life Member of the Association, an honor she was "delighted" to accept.

Can you take one one of the vacant positions?

Tournament Secretary:
Arranges the 3 JNA tournaments - Mary Blake Over 35s, Sheila La Var Inter Parish Tournament and the Sinclair & Lloyds Tournaments. Sheila Price who has stepped down as offered to give the new Tournament Secretary her paperwork and insight into the role. Sheila added a Christmas versatility tournament when she took over the role and whoever takes over would be encouraged to propose to the committee any additional tournaments as perhaps a fundraiser for the JNA.

Publicity Officer
An important role - the person needs to communicate with the media all results from the Dominion Winter League, JNA tournaments, Dominion Youth Tournaments and any other relevant JNA news. Arrange JEP photographers and liaise with other media for coverage of events. Please note that the person is not expected to cover Jersey Netball Development events or that of Team Jets.
