School Holiday and Half Term Netball Courses
Jersey Netball
Development offers structured junior holiday courses throughout Half Terms,
Easter and Summer Holidays. All courses are packed full of fun based activities
and games with lots of quizzes, competitions and prizes. The courses are a
great way for children to have fun with friends and make new friends whilst
learning and improving their netball skills.
All days are 9am-3pm and coaches will be on site from 8.30am-3.30pm to offer an earlier and later drop off and collection time. The courses follow the structure of the school day in terms of breaks and children will be split into groups according to ability to challenge every netballer. The course Lead Coach will be qualified to UKCC Level 2. All other Lead coaches will be UKCC level 1 qualified with at least 2 years coaching experience. We endeavour to offer a ratio of one coach to ten players. The year 2-4 course offers an introduction to core netball skills and the rules of the game through fun activities and games. Children will be encouraged to make new friends and have lots of fun. The year 5-7 course will develop core skills, positional and game awareness and court play through practices focused on team work and enjoyment. Children will be encouraged to try as many different Netball positions as possible within the time frame and will be given the opportunity to get involved in umpiring the game. |
Netball Development are running a Course in the February Half Term for Years 2 to 7
between 17th and the 19th February 2015 (see below for more information)
Coaches will be at Les Ormes from 8.30am to 3.30pm and each day runs from 9am until 3pm.
