Dominion Youth League 2017 - 2018
The Youth League starts annually with a fun tournament which this season is on Wednesday 6th September 2017 at Les Ormes. All girls will need to bring £3.00 as this is a fundraiser for Jersey Netball Development. Girls will be coached by Players from the PWC County Academy.
League games are held during the season on a Wednesday night from Wednesday 13th September 2017. Please see the fixtures below. Please note that warm up time is from 7pm and match start times are 7.15pm - 8.30pm. Central timing will be used of 5 x 10 minute intervals with 5 minutes in-between each interval and there will be no injury time. Players in Section 2 play every position on a rota so that they can gain experience in every position which is fantastic for their overall development. Players in Section 1 will play a version of Fast-7 and play in their preferred positions where possible.

For all players Netball should always be enjoyable. While you're playing
Netball, whether during or after a match, in a tournament or at club training, no one should ever make you feel unhappy or uncomfortable. This includes your coaches, the umpires, other players or people watching. Netball should be fun. If you are unhappy or uncomfortable about something, don't keep quiet about it, and always tell someone you trust. Each Club with a youth team has a safeguarding officer. Speak to your parents or to your club Safeguarding Officer about any concerns that you may have. There are also 2 officers who act for the JNA - see the Safeguarding page for more information.
