ST LAWRENCE NETBALL CLUB
St. Lawrence Netball Club is celebrating its 55th birthday this year, founded in 1968.
We currently have four senior teams and two ‘under 18’.
Summer training / selection runs from May to September at Les Quennevais School outdoor courts. Shannon Carr is our head coach for the under 18 training (5:30pm - 7:00pm), assisted by Jackie Nelson. We are very fortunate to have an abundance of qualified coaches, Emma Carre, Michelle Nelson, Nicole Goddard and Fliss MacDougal, who offer to take turns at leading the later sessions (7:00pm - 8:30pm).
We do not train in the winter months.
Our six winter league teams are very ably nurtured / coached by Michelle Nelson, Jan Morley, Tara Parker, Leanne Fitzgerald Wilkins, Shannon Carr and Jackie Nelson.
We encourage our members to participate in all aspects of the Jersey Netball Association, whether it be umpiring or coaching, financially supporting them in their ‘learning curve’ through funds raised by the club.
St Lawrence NC are a very friendly bunch of individuals. Our ethos is… give 100% to training and to the competitive games, if we win, great, if not, we try harder next time!
